The process of making a drawing
Drawing is part of my daily life and presents itself in many different ways, all necessary, which contribute to the final result.
There is a period that I consider a kind of long gestation, invisible to those who do not pay attention, in which you enter the "world of limitlessness", where everything becomes possible. The difficult part is to stay there long enough to have time and space that allow for our limits to expand and give life to that seed that serves for the new design.
A dear friend of mine calls this moment contemplation, or action in the temple and in this case the temple is me. It is a solitary introspective moment of great silence...
For me, it is just something that occurs when I shop or converse with friends; it is a deep-seated attitude that stays in the background. It does not entail meditation or particular retreats. All of this obviously includes the influence of great artists, who inspire me through books and exhibitions.
Next is the design: what kind of materials are used? (Even though it appears to be constant, careful experimentation goes into it.) Subject? Which format and colors?
The objective is to get as close to what I have in my head as possible during this phase of tests and experiments (like Einstein’s mental experiments, those who pass that test are then created in reality too, but may still be dismissed).

The time for the actual drawing finally arrives, which is essentially the most "simple" part because the seed has grown and is ready to bloom. This stage involves the technique, which needs to be practiced daily since it is the instrument that lets you push the boundaries of what is possible!
