Colours and emotions
I was intrigued by working with colors every day and tried to deepen my understanding of the subject.
Colour is essential to our feelings and has a deep effect on our emotions and behaviour. Studies have demonstrated that certain colours can exert a strong psychological influence on individuals, impacting their emotions, actions, and even bodily responses.
The psychological reactions to various colors vary. For instance, blue (the colour I use the most) is frequently linked to feelings of serenity and relaxation, whereas red is frequently linked to passion and excitement. Likewise, yellow is linked to joy and hope, whilst green is linked to development and rejuvenation.
Our decision-making and social interactions are also influenced by colour: for example, it has been shown that green makes people more collaborative while yellow makes them more creative.
I don't want to enter the realm of advertising, which practically amounts to manipulation by utilizing colors to elicit wants that result in materialism that is now merely detrimental and outdated.
You hear a lot about color analysis around this time, and there are books and courses to help you figure out what colors are important to you. This particular focus on how to use colors intrigues me greatly, and I hope that everyone can discover their own natural colour analysis rather than depending on specialists. Perhaps just paying attention to what people say about us and, more importantly, how we feel when we choose one color over another.
As I looked back on my artistic journey, I saw that I use color to create a temporary condition of timelessness where I can listen and explore the most amazing and hidden aspects that don't come to light in daily life.
To share this practice, which is fantastic for me, I decided to organize a series of workshops that I titled Mindful Watercolour, I’m more than happy to held them abroad!
